Alfonza Hightower, 87, of Martinsville, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021 at SOVAH Health of Martinsville. He was born April 11, 1934 in Martinsville, to the late Robert Hightower and Cora Lee Erby. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Monica Hightower. He graduated from Southside High School, and had been employed by Safeway Food Corporation for 30 years. Mr. Hightower is survived by his son, Mark Hightower; sister, Cora Elizabeth Hightower; and brother, Herman Willie Hightower. All services will be private.
