Arthur J. Gibbons, 62, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at his residence. He was born February 9, 1960, in Martinsville, Virginia to the late Arthur Junior Gibbons, Sr. and Helen Holliday Gibbons. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Wade Booth; and brothers, Darrell Gibbons, Allan Furr, Jackie Smith, and Terry Furr. Arthur was a member of Living Waters Church of God of Prophecy. He was also a member of the NRA. Arthur is survived by his wife, Dreama Kiser Gibbons; daughters, Kristen G. Young (Matthew); son, Arthur J Gibbons III (Amanda); sister, Jennie Vestal; brother, Stanley Wade; grandchildren, Shelby Breanne Gibbons, Arthur Junior Gibbons, IV “Gibb”, Aryanna Faith Abbott, Katelynn Grace Young, Alysa Hope Abbott, and Gabriel Peyton Young. The funeral will be held on, Friday, February 25, 2022, at 3:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Bud Sedwick officiating. Burial will follow at Fair Haven Memorial Park.
