Brenda Lee Stoneman Nester, 57, of Fieldale, Virginia, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021, at SOVAH Health of Martinsville. She was born July 31, 1964, in Martinsville, to Irma Jean Daniels McKenna and the late Roy Eugene Stoneman. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Nester; brothers, Billy Gene Stoneman, Charles Bennett Stoneman and Robert Leon Stoneman. Brenda is survived by her sons, Joseph Wayne Beamer and Ricky Lee Swisher; sisters, Norma Fralin and Jessica Lawson; and grandchildren, Ivory Beamer, Landon Swisher, and Lottie Swisher. The funeral will be Sunday, October 31, 2021, at 3:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel, with Pastor Bill Richardson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
