Harold Phillip Spencer

Harold Phillip Spencer, 87, of Martinsville, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Franklin Health and Rehab. He was born February 23, 1934 in Martinsville, to the late Wise Spencer and Lillian Oakley Spencer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Steve Spencer; and grandson, Jamey Ross. He was a pig farmer and a hard worker. He was known as “Papa” to everyone. Harold is survived by his daughter, Susan Durham; son, Ted Spencer (Trish); sisters, Shirley Horton (Richard) and Joy Hodges; brother, Charles Spencer; several grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
