James Kinley Manns (Gable), 75, of Collinsville, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at his residence. He was born March 18, 1947, in Henry County, to the late Mack Manns and Mildred Stanley Manns. He loved to fish and watch racing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, George Manns. Gable leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Sandra K. Hunt; sister, Linda J. Goad (Elder Charles); brother, Ricky Stanley; grandchildren, Marcus Hunt, Montaious Hunt and Nyquez Martin; great-grandchildren, Kamari Johnson, Kennedy Palmer-Martin, Taylaa Hunt and Kohl Palmer-Martin; niece, Jessica Goad; nephew, Joseph Goad; two right-hand men, Larry “Donnie” Ross and Jim Stanley; and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral will be Sunday, March 27, 2022, at 1:00 P. M. at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Elder John El Manns officiating and Elder Antonio Hargrove, Eulogist. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow at Stanley Family Cemetery, Penrose Drive, Bassett, Virginia. Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
