James (Styx) Mason Roberts, 53, of Axton, Virginia, passed away Friday, March 4, 2022, in Axton. He was born June 27, 1968, in Orange, New Jersey, to Gladys Louise Harris Roberts and the late Drewery Roberts. Styx enjoyed riding motorcycles, helping his family, and working on cars. He was a jack-of-all-trades. He spent most of his time under the hood of a car or on a roof. He loved to build and work with his hands. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Daryl Harris; and sister, Sandra Mitchell. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughters, Memory Roberts and Gracie Roberts; and brothers, Chris Roberts, Johnny Roberts, Ronald Roberts, and David Roberts. The funeral will be Friday, March 11, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel, with visitation 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow at Fair Haven Memorial Park.
