Lawrence Huffman, 90, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021, at his home. He was born July 16, 1931 in Konnarock, Virginia, to the late Walter Huffman and Stella Mae Mcneail Huffman. He was a member of Gospel Road Baptist Church. Lawrence proudly served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed fishing, building bird houses, and working on his truck. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Rachel Johnston and Mabel Ellis; brothers, Earl Huffman, Walter Huffman Jr. and Lundy Huffman; and grandson, D.L. Bullins. Lawrence is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Angie Huffman; daughters, Wanda Bullins (Clyde) and Tabatha “Tabby” Linkous (Rex); sons, Randy Huffman and Gary Huffman; brother, R.C. Huffman; grandchildren, Bradley Arrington, Michael Bullins, Jessica Young (Tank), Samantha Linkous, and Zack Linkous; and great-grandchildren, Tyler Arrington, Gabby Arnold, Kayden Hughes, Axl Robbins, Marlee Horton, Jameson Horton, and Aiden Bullins. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Bill Richardson officiating.
