Mary Pickford Dalton, 82, of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born April 17, 1939, in Henry County, to the late William H. Kellam and Mary Bethel Kellam. She enjoyed watching soap operas, sitting on the porch, watching children, and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of Shiloh Temple Apostolic Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Bernard Dalton. Mrs. Dalton is survived by her daughter, Lisa Dalton; sister, Betty Ann Moon; brothers, Daniel Kellam, Jerome Kellam, William Kellam, Gregory Kellam and Joseph Kellam; grandchildren, Chasity Dalton and Tiaira Jacobson; great-grandchildren, Breana Dalton, Keyonia Adams, Nicholas Jacobson; great-great-grandchildren, Kyren Adams and Lucien Adams; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends. The funeral will be Friday, March 18, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Bishop James Millner officiating. Burial will follow at Carver Memorial Gardens. A floating visitation will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
