Michael Wayne Gardner, 75, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Monday, November 8, 2021, at his residence. He was born September 17, 1946, in Martinsville, to the late Walter Jack Gardner and Cora Houston Gardner. He was a member of Jehovah’s Witness. Mr. Gardner collected trains, and Star Trek and Star Wars memorabilia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Betty McDowell. Michael is survived by his wife, Laponda Day Gardner; daughters, Angela Keeler (Scott) and Michelle Gardner; sons, Mark Gardner (Tabatha) and Scott Gardner; sister, Susan Gardner; three grandchildren, Christian Keeler, Noah Keeler and Allison Gardner; and eight great-grandchildren.
