Myrtle Hairston Marshall

Myrtle Maxine Hairston Marshall, 77, of Ridgeway, Virginia passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at Martinsville Health and Rehab. She was born December 1, 1944, to the late James Edward Hairston and Myrtle Smith Hairston. She was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed scratching lottery tickets, watching movies, listing to old music and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Henry Givens, Jr.; two sisters; and four brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Katie France; son, Cliff Marshall; sister, Leochi Hairston; sister-in-law, Dorothy Jean Hairston; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and special friend, Willie Ziglar. A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2022, from 4:00 P. M. to 7:00 P. M. at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. All other services will be private.
