Robert Moore, 83, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away March 10, 2022 at Woltz Hospice Home, Dobson, North Carolina. He was born May 18, 1938 in Buena Vista, Virginia, to the late Henry Addison and Glendon Long Moore. He proudly served in The United States Coast Guard, and was of the Catholic faith. He had been a maintenance supervisor for Tultex. He loved to play golf, hunt, and fish; he was a craftsman and loved animals. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Gail Marie Hardy. Robert is survived by his wife, Laura Figueiredo Moore; sons, Robert James Moore (Yvonne), Brian Keith Moore (Rita), Timothy Paul Moore (Brenda), Joseph Lee Moore, and Daniel Michael Moore; sister, Louise Painter; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. All services will be private. Following the services, the family will gather at the home of Robert and Yvonne for at time of fellowship on Sunday, March 13, 2022, from 3:30 - 5:00 PM.
