Sandra Lou Kendrick Shelton Turner, 68, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at her home. She was born May 26, 1953, in Martinsville, to the late Orelle and Vera Owens Shelton. She enjoyed knitting, drinking cokes, hummingbirds, and working in her flower garden. She was a wonderful caregiver for all of her family and was the best grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Jo Ann Shelton; and brothers, Walter and James Shelton. Sandra is survived by her daughter, Jamie Turner; son, Michael Kendrick (Carol); brother, Ted Shelton; and grandchildren, Nick Turner and Eden Turner. A graveside service will be held Friday, November 12, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Mountain View Cemetery with Pastor Neil Pressley officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
