Sherry Morris Preston, 75, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022, at the home of her son, Sean Cobb in Chatham, Virginia. She was born May 5, 1946, in Anderson, South Carolina, to the late E.C. Morris and Helen Coleman Morris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jamie Preston; and son, Alan Bell. She was a woman of many talents and interests, including being outside, working in her flower beds, bartending, rock and roll and bluegrass music and loved all kinds of animals. Sherry could play a dulcimer and the piano. She and Jamie loved to travel. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter; Beth McDonald; stepdaughter, Lovella Glenn; sons, Sean Cobb (Susan) and Kerry Cobb; stepson, Jimi Weaver Preston; brothers, Carl Morris (June), and Bryan Morris; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
