Steven Edward Fisher, 59, of Patrick Springs, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at his home. He was born January 11, 1963, in Stuart Virginia, to Ronald Lee Fisher and Eldean Overby Gilley. He was preceded in death by a son, Tyler Preston Fisher. Steve proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He enjoyed fishing, watching the History Channel, Old Westerns, and the beach. He was a simple man. He had been employed by Koger Air as a machinist. In addition to his parents, Steve is survived by his wife, Ramona Fisher; son, Matthew Steven Fisher; sisters, Carolyn “Jan” Wiggins (Daniel) and Teresa Fisher; and grandson, Noah William Fisher. A friends and family gathering will be held at Philpott Lake Dam and Overlook on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at 2:00 PM. All other services will be private. Memorials may be made to Brenner Children’s Hospital Wake Forest Baptist Health, Medical Center Boulevard, Winston-Salem, NC 27157-0001. Wright Funeral Service and Crematory is serving the family.
