Virginia Margaret Carter Higgs, 91, of Martinsville, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022 at UNC Rockingham Hospital. She was born May 1, 1930, in Virginia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Henry Higgs. She was of the Baptist faith, and had been employed by Ridgeway Clocks for 30 years. Mrs. Higgs is survived by her sons, Roy W. Wilson, Donnie Higgs and Jimmy Higgs; step-son, Michael Higgs; grandson, Spencer Higgs; and great-granddaughter, Natalie Higgs. All services are private.
