Vivian Wall Martin of Axton, Virginia, departed this life to be with her Heavenly Father and loving husband, Melvin, on Friday, February 4, 2022. She was born on October 7, 1939, to the late Holland Wilburn Wall and Minnie Lou Wall. Vivian attended Lone Oak Baptist Church and loved singing in the choir. She was an avid bowler and bowled in many tournaments. She also loved her flowers and gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ralph, Leonard, Donald, Eddie, and Wayne Wall; and sisters, Mildred Morton and Jewel Wall. Vivian is survived by her son, Jeff Martin; daughters, Jennifer Motley (Dan) and Janice Ferguson (Tommy); brother, C.W. Wall; grandchildren, Danny Motley, Justin Motley, Matthew Martin, Ashlie Martin, and Clifton Ferguson; and great-grandchildren, Morgan Vest, Kinleigh Motley, Jayson Turney, Dylan Motley, Ryland Lynch, Constance Ferguson, and Tomascus Ferguson. The funeral will be Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 2:00 PM, at Lone Oak Baptist Church with Pastor Josh Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Lone Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 9, 2022, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Lone Oak Baptist Church. Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
