William “Paul” Moore, 81, of Martinsville, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at his home. He was born January 25, 1941 in Wise County, Virginia, to the late William Moore and Edith Idel Wilson Moore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughters, Kathryn Lynn Moore and Lisa Brooks; and sister, Lorraine Church. He had been employed by Prillaman & Pace for 17 years as a line leader. He was in the United States National Guard for four years, and was a member and deacon at One Accord Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time. Paul is survived by his wife, Jackie Steele Moore; daughters, Rhonda Hutcherson, Karen Roberts and Donna Gayle (Mitchell); sons, Gary Lee Moore, Tony Witcher (Jessica) and Gary Robertson (Jess); sister, Mary W. Wall (C.W.); and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Phillip Wood officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Roselawn Burial Park. Wright Funeral Service and Crematory is serving the family.
