Zachary Ty Porter, 19, of Martinsville, transitioned to his new home on Monday, March 14, 2022. He was born May 17, 2002 in Martinsville, to Scott Porter and Tosha Dhonnhok Porter. He was a firm believer in Jesus, and was a soul winner. He loved video games, and making people laugh. He was a great hugger, the life of the party, he enjoyed hiking, working out with his friends, fishing, running, bonfires, watching sunsets, taking long drives, jamming out to music, and singing in the shower. He loved his canine partner, Ruger. Zachary was preceded in death by his grandmother, Wanda Faye Dillon. He was employed by R & R Fabrication. In addition to his parents, Zachary is survived by his sisters, Harley and Journey Porter; grandparents, Joe and Linda Porter, and Philip Dillon; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be Friday, March 18, 2022 at 7:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Adam Touchstone officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.
